Terms of Service

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, and at least 16.
• One person per account. Don't create accounts to manipulate reputation or evade a suspension.

You keep ownership of the problems, solutions, comments and files you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute public content on the platform, and to process private content (such as validation files) only to provide the service to you and your assigned reviewer.

Public solutions and comments may be read and reused by other members to fix their own software. Only post code you have the right to share, and never post secrets or personal data.

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove content, correct reputation, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, or that put other members or the platform at risk.

• Community contributions are voluntary and unpaid unless a paid assignment with written terms says otherwise.
• Reputation, levels and badges reflect platform activity. They are not a certification, employment offer or guarantee of income.
• We may adjust reputation that was gained through error or manipulation; corrections are recorded visibly.
• Paid services and assignments are not yet available. When they are, additional terms will apply and will be shown before you accept any work.

Solutions are provided by community members, not by us. Test any change before using it in production. You are responsible for the software you ship.

Validation reports record the results of a review of a specific scope and version on a specific date. They are not a warranty, certification or guarantee that software is secure, free of defects, or compliant with any law or standard. Submitted code is never executed on our servers.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any solution or report. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account through contact & support. Public contributions that others relied on may be kept in anonymised form. We may suspend or end accounts as described in section 3.

We may update these terms as the platform grows. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, notify members on the platform before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the updated terms.
